Vladimir Kalabujov serves as the Hispanic Ministry Leader at Galena Bible Church, where he is committed to building ongoing, trusting relationships with the local Hispanic community. His ministry is centered on the exposition of God’s Word through one-on-one discipleship, leading Bible studies, and teaching ESL classes that use Scripture to explain the gospel.
On Sunday mornings, Vladimir teaches the adult Hispanic Family Bible Hour class and oversees the live translation ministry during the worship service. He also works closely with the church staff to incorporate Spanish elements into Sunday services and helps establish Spanish-speaking Life Groups that foster spiritual growth in community.
Originally from Uruguay, South America, Vladimir earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bible Studies from Seminario Bíblico Rio Grande in Texas.
Vladimir has been married to Valeria since 2011, and they have four children: Felipe, Elías, Josías, and Camila. Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, drinking mate, and grilling lots of Uruguayan-style asado.
