Ray Guerra has been serving as a pastor at Galena Bible Church since January 2023. In his role, he writes the church’s Sunday School (Family Bible Hour) curriculum, preaches occasionally, teaches Bible studies, leads the Life Group ministries, and the counseling ministry.
Ray earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Music Education from Emmaus University, a Master’s of Education in Higher Education from Liberty University, and a Master’s in Theological Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in biblical counseling.
Ray is passionate about seeing God transform lives through The Word and helping the church stand as a beacon of truth in the community. Married to Laura since 2015, Ray is the proud father of three children: Luisa, Holly, and Javier. When he’s not ministering, you can find him playing with his kids, reading, or brewing coffee.
